Section 504 Services
A Section 504 plan is developed by the Section 504 team to address the needs of a student with a physical or mental impairment that restricts one or more major life activities in the school environment. A Section 504 plan can include related services, modifications, and accommodations to be provided in the classroom to support the student.
A student may be referred to the Section 504 team by their parent, physician, or school personnel. The Section 504 team will review all available information regarding the student’s impairment and its effect in the school environment when discussing possible Section 504 services.
